چکیده

Background: Gingival recession is defined asThe displacement of soft tissue margin apical to CEJ with exposure root surface. Factors such as abnormal tooth alignment in the arch, fenestration, dehiscence, faulty brushing, periodontal diseases etc. are few causes gingival recession. The aim present study was compare effectiveness minimally invasive Vestibular Incision Subperiosteal Tunnel Access (VISTA) technique and coronally advanced flap using a bioresorbable collagen membrane Millers Class I II recessions Material Methods: 20 sites or were recruited allocated into 2 groups 10 each. Test group: VISTA control CAF membrane. Plaque Index (PI), (GI), relative Clinical attachment level (CAL) Pocket Probing Depth (PPD) Recession Height (RH) width keratinized gingiva (WKG) Width (RW) measured at baseline 3 months 6 months. Results: A significant improvement found all clinical parameters group from reduction significantly more compared Control group. Conclusion: Both groups, viz: resorbable effective treatment being can be used for covering defects.

Two-Stage Mucogingival Surgery with Free Gingival Autograft and Biomend Membrane and Coronally Advanced Flap in Treatment of Class III Millers Recession

Introduction. Gingival recession is an apical shift of the gingival margin with exposure of the root surface. This migration of the marginal tissue leads to esthetic concerns, dentin hypersensitivity, root caries, and cervical wear. It is, paradoxically, a common finding in patients with a high standard of oral hygiene, as well as in periodontally untreated populations with poor oral hygiene. C...

Treatment of Gingival Recession Using Coronally Advanced Flap – Case Reports

One of the most common esthetic concern associated with the periodontal tissues is gingival recession. Gingival recession is the exposure of root surfaces due to apical migration of the gingival tissue margins; gingival margin migrates apical to the cementoenamel junction. Although it rarely results in tooth loss, marginal tissue recession is associated with thermal and tactile sensitivity, est...

Vestibular incision subperiosteal tunnel access (VISTA) with platelet rich fibrin (PRF) and connective tissue graft (CTG) in the management of multiple gingival recession- A case series

Gingival recession is clinically manifested by an apical displacement of the gingival tissues, leading to root surface exposure. It is a concern for both patients and clinician for several reasons such as root hypersensitivity, erosion, root caries, and esthetics. Recently, new techniques have been suggested for the surgical treatment of multiple adjacent recession type defects. The current cas...
